How to reach there
Cubbon Park is located on Kasturba Road, Bangalore. The City Bangalore has access to Metros and Cubbon Park can be easily reached via Metro station, Cubbon Park in the purple line. Other than metros, Cubbon Park can be reached via local buses, cabs and own vehicle.
Visitor Duration
The Cubbon Park is spread in an area of 200 acres and to full excursion of its premises of the beach, we would suggest you take 4-5 hours.
Timing and Fees
Cubbon Park is open from 6am to 8pm. And there no fees for entry in the park. The park is open every day except Monday and Second Tuesdays of the month.
Specialty
- Research Area- There is a wide variety of vegetation seen in this park, which includes over 96 botanical and native species, including plants such as tabebuia, milletia, ficus, bamboo and much more. This is the reason why this park attracts a large number of botanical researchers and students.
- Aquarium- The Aquarium inside the Cubbon Park offers different ranges and varieties of fish in the fish tanks.
- Archeological Museum- The Archeological Museum was built in 1875. The collection in the Museum belongs to Mysore Gazetteer and antiques from the Mohenjodaro period.
- Seshadri Iyer Memorial Hall- The Memorial Hall has rendered to spread the knowledge. The Library is spread in an area of 300 square kilometers.

- Historic Building- There are few historic buildings like Attara Kacheri(Karnataka High Court), Archeological Museum, Seshadri Memorial Hall(library), etc.

- Jogging- The Park is famous for its morning chillness and evening calmness, which gives an appropriate atmosphere for joggers.

- Humid- Because of the open area and in the afternoon, the place becomes quite hot and humid to roam in the park.

- Avoid going on weekends- To avoid the crowd of holiday-makers on weekends, we would advise people to visit this beach on weekdays and in off time.
- Carry water Bottles- Since the area is quite large, one may run out of water. So make sure to carry extra water bottles with you.
